Questions I Would Like Answers to at the October 23rd Special Fire Board Meeting

A Few of the Questions I Would Like Answers to at the October 23rd Special Fire Board Meeting. Just so they know in advance..

UPDATE Went to the LMRFD Board Meeting.
You Can't Ask Questions. You Can Have Your Say, But The Board Can't Answer.... It's The LAW....

1. Maintenance records, cost, and who was paid for the last year of ambulance repairs?

2. Average ambulance millage per year for the last 5 years.

3. Out of district fire response. Each time I complain about our firefighters and equipment leaving the fire district on fires leaving those who do pay property tax to the fire district unprotected. I’m told we get paid for those responses. The fact is the Dolan Springs area is mostly people on fixed incomes. If their home burns down, and with the long response times few if any homes are saved. That’s not the firefighters fault, it’s the fact that response times are long and many live in mobile homes that burn fast. So of the out of district responses how many times, and how much has the district been paid in the last 2 years on out of district fire responses?

4. Why weren't we asked prior to the upcoming vote about spending a large portion of the LMRFD annual budget on a new ambulance before the purchase?

5. The recent ad on the front page of the Hometown Crier was for volunteers to work on alternative funding. More money, not volunteers interested in volunteering as external firefighters or interested in learning EMS to help on our ambulance that covers 2200 square miles.
